"A lot of us feel that we don’t want to make mistakes or fail while trying something new, but if you focus too much on preventing failure, then you’ll also avoid ever becoming successful and learning from your mistakes. Holding back that desire within to try something new can stifle your creativity." I love this quote from the House of Smith; it is so true I know that it's fueled my thoughts and hopefully my actions to be able to release the inner desire and become the Creative person that God Made me be. A Picture we took while driving to Queensland on holidays. This photo was taken at the crack of dawn just outside Wagga Wagga while on our way to Dubbo. I love the yellow flowers in the field; I think the farms are growing canola.

Christmas Challenge

I have joined a Christmas challenge on Amanda's Blog I Love Cloth Dolls. For the month of June, the challenge was to create something for your Christmas tree made from any medium that takes your fancy. I made a Vintage Christmas bauble, made from a variety of mediums, Material being the primary medium. Has been fun, now I have to think about what I am going to do for July.

Salvaged

Project finished finally. Have been working on this one for a little while and could not find the colours that I wanted frustrating when suppliers don't have what you want, so she has not come out the way I had anticipated. So she is a queen bee with her Angelina Jolie/Pitt lips and a very sick baby bee. Well, i guess practice makes perfect, I am glad to get it finished. The pattern is from Back Porch Pickings, Have not done anywhere near the justice that it deserves.
